Tom was amazing! From my first appointment to the last one he handled everything and in between the appointments he kept me updated via emails. Our arrival in Jamaica transportation from the airport to the resort and from the resort back to the airport was effortless, he had everything setup. Will definitely use Tom Carr and Preferred Vacations again!

Tom Carr was absolutely amazing with helping us book our adult family vacation to a beautiful resort in Mexico. This is the first time that any of us had left the country so like any anyone else we had a lot of questions. We emailed/called him frequently and he always responded in a timely manner, and he was very knowledgeable with providing us answer. We have already been discussing our next vacation and we all agreed that we would definitely be booking it through Tom.

We were able to use Tom's services in booking our honeymoon and we are very glad that we did! Trying to decide between all of the destinations, options, resorts, etc was very overwhelming. We were able to provide a budget and an ideal trip and Tom did the rest. He was always easy to reach, answered any and all questions, and made sure that we were informed on the decisions we made. Preferred Vacations (PV) is awesome. I would highly recommend them. We had 80 people travel to the Bahamas for our destination wedding and PV handled the whole thing start to finish for our whole group. Preferred Vacations was professional, courteous and great at communication. They take away all the stress of travel, but also get you a way better deal then you will ever find on your own. I spoke with 5 travel agents before settling on Preferred Vacations and they did NOT disappoint. When first speaking with PV, I was mentioning all the things other travel agents told me we had to do ourselves. Preferred Vacations handled it all. I told them what we were looking for, they gave me suggestions, and then walked us through the process. Then, they already had a relationship with the resort we chose, and that made everything even better. They personally set us up with a private deal through the upper management and we were thus treated like kings and queens the whole trip. Everyone of my group of 80 said how great and professional they were and many will be using Preferred Vacations. Thanks again Preferred Vacations for helping to make our wedding week the best ever. We will be using you again.

Tom was phenomenal to work with while booking our family vacation this year to Punta Cana (Iberostar Resort). He showed patience, he was very attentive to our needs and extremely responsive to our questions throughout the entire process. I was quick to reach out to Tom when we returned to thank him for helping us put together the best family vacation we have ever been on and to let him know we will be reaching out soon to book our 2024 trip with him. Tom was great to work with! He responded quickly, and was super helpful! He looked up multiple places and provided rates with and without flights. He is also very knowledgeable about different resorts, which made it very helpful. Would recommend and book with him again!

I can’t recommend Tom at Preferred Vacations enough for the incredible travel services he provides. He has arranged three (soon to be four) unforgettable trips to the Caribbean for me and my now-husband. Before working with Tom, I’d never used a travel agent and wasn’t sure what to expect. He not only made the process seamless but exceeded all expectations by recommending resorts tailored to our preferences, drawing from his personal experiences. He also consistently finds affordable travel times that fit our schedules perfectly. What sets Tom apart, though, is how much he truly cares about his clients. A perfect example is how he handled our destination wedding. Tom helped us book a wedding at a resort in Cancun, coordinating rooms for our friends and family to make everything easier—not just for us, but for our loved ones who were nervous about traveling internationally for the first time. Our wedding was planned for July 4, 2024, but as the date approached, a hurricane threatened to make landfall right where our resort was located. Tom went above and beyond, keeping us updated on the storm and checking in with us daily. When it became clear the wedding couldn’t go forward due to the severe weather, he worked tirelessly—over the course of 48 hours, and even into the early morning hours—to reschedule a trip for us, our families, and our wedding party to a safe area of the Caribbean. Thanks to the travel insurance he offers, everyone who had purchased it received travel credits, and we were able to salvage our plans with a honeymoon and family celebration. Although our wedding didn’t go as planned, Tom turned a stressful situation into a joyful one, and we couldn’t be more grateful. After this experience, I’m not only convinced of the value of a travel agent—I’m convinced I’ll never use anyone but Tom!

We booked our three week honeymoon trip to Hawaii through Tom and his team at Preferred Vacations. They reserved us at beautiful resorts on the four different islands we visited and coordinated all our flights and car rentals and additional excursions. We were very specific about the type of flights we wanted and they found us the perfect flights. During the entire trip, we encountered only one issue. We ended up unhappy with our accommodations on the last island. We called Preferred and Tom went above and beyond to get us a refund and moved to a much better facility. In fact, it ended up being our favorite spot of all and that says a lot because they were all beautiful with excellent service. We are so grateful to Preferred Vacations for making our trip the awe inspiring trip we hoped it would be. They made our dreams come true. We could not recommend them more highly.
